Question: Can Ayurveda, Homeopathy or Unani doctors work in Insurance sector? Does that require any specific qualification? What is AAPC CPC?

View Answer: Even I pass this medical coding too .once we passed this AAPC CPC (American Academy of professional coders,Certified professional coders)we can work under insurance field as a medical coder. Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. Which means every disease conditions or any equipment s have a code. Those who are in insurance they dont know to read doctors prescription,etc..so between Doctor and an insurance staff one coder is needed to convert Doctors language.. Create your profile in AAPC site. (some payment is there) this is an open exam.either we have to buy text or will get rental(text is costly).exam is also costly.better go for a coaching.or else difficult to understand
